Ok so for us non SE members you have a chrome grille. I've seen a lot of people paint them and well it works for the time being. I've done the same, its been thru one winter. Now its started to peel. 1 peel is due to a rock and the others are just wear.

I sanded everything down and put 2 primers and 3 layers of plastic black paint and toped it off with 3 clear coats. It only lasted thru a winter. orginally i loved the idea and how it came out because was a nice close match. I was going to do my front lip with it. But then it started to peel in patches.

So just wondering if you guys are having the same results as of now? If not what method did you guys use.
