Cattman headers installed

I finished installing cattman headers on my car the other day. The install wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I already had a cattman cat-back installed with the stock cat. The tone itself is great and sounds much better than it did before. The bassy sound is pretty much gone except for the lower rpms but it's not as loud as it was with the warpspeed y-pipe installed. Oddly the exhaust seems quieter throughout all rpms. I even threw the stock resonator on my intake to see if I could hear it better and I still couldn't hear it over the intake. It could just be cause the tone is much higher than before. I was able to hear my exhaust with the y-pipe installed over the intake but not anymore. The tone itself sounds just like ceasars but his is louder. Correct me if I'm wrong but that may be because cattman changed the resonator used on his cat-backs recently compared to the old ones. I just wish it was a bit louder. I may just pick up an unresonated b-pipe and see if that brings out the sound a bit. Hopefully it won't end up being too loud. My girl has a 5.5 gen with a resonator delete, flowmaster muffler, and stock y-pipe and cat and that thing is still louder than my car. As for gains, there is some in the higher rpm's. I don't notice anything different below around 4k but I can notice it more around 5k and up especially on the highway. It doesn't fall flat on it's face at around 6k like it did but it's still not enough to bring it to stock redline. I'll post a video as soon as I get a chance.

I'll try to get it dynoed before the summer. I definately want to keep the cattman muffler on there. I love the sound it's putting out now. If anything i'll just put an unresonated b-pipe in and hopefully that should do it.

if you replace the y-pipe with a warpspeed and delete the cat. How much HP gain do you get if you replaced the stock b-pipe and muffler. The nissan rep told me that i would probably gain a horsepower. The nissan rep says that the b-pipe and the muffler are already free flowing. He says this because on the downshift he notices popping, meaning low back pressure. Is this true or is he pulling my middle leg?

Would these be more useful on a 3.5 than a 3.0 in a 4th gen? Trying to prep for my swap and Im not sure about hotshots.
Sounds great btw.

Well they replace both the y pipe and the headers, so they'd be about equally as useful for both. The 3.5 gets more power out of 'em, but then again the 3.5 makes considerably more power in the first place.

Power-wise? Probably not. Sound-wise? Maybe.

Wait. The VQ35 headers have precats in 'em. You should expect 20+ whp from headers in a VQ35. Sorry, I thought you meant on a VQ30.
