friday night on the berlin tpke here in CT, i was approached by this kid in a hyundai something or other, he said his boy wanted to race me with his GSR so i was up for the challenge , low and behold, up pulls a 2002 acura RSX so i yelled over to the kid "that aint no GSR" he laughed and watched the light , at the light , i launched well just a little bit of a hop and then hit 2nd gear just a little bit of hop and i put the clutch back in at about 6 grand and it was over, had him by a car length. granted it couldnt been an auto and the guy had only had it for a day , but winnings winning whether its an inch or a mile.

way to break in that new Acura.... Aren't ya supposed to keep it in low revs until like a thousand or 2 thousand miles? I would never know, I never had a new car But still... With the mods you have, I suppose that was the base RSX, the Type S is faster... anyways, good kill... u might be in the record books as the first max to take the new RSX.

 

they just wanted to show off! i doubt they cared about a win.

 

I can say that his Maxima is quick seeing how he killed me 3 or 4 times the same night!!

ill be able to launch better once i get my suspension so if anyone wants to race me ill race , even if u have an s/c or suttin i like to know where i stand when it comes to my abilities and my cars ability so whether yer faster or slower i wanna race so in two weeks bring it on

i saw the RSX you are talkin bout cuz i was also up at the pike on friday night. Dont know who the kid is though.

 

once i get my suspension we should all meet up at the pike (i blew a strut so i gotta drive the 3rd gen) so i wont be at the pike for a while till i install my suspension but ill post something on here the middle of the week so we can plan . we definately need to make the maxima scene known

Hey, boys...I have been up there the past few months...there are QUITE a few maximas up there. I can call a few people if we all go cruising as a group, but my max is SLOW.

heh I saw a brand spanking new type S today, followed it, and kicked its ***. Maybe he was uh...not USED to it or something...but I housed him in my barely-not-stock, slow automatic.
