I've seen similar doorpanels on Honda/Acuras before, wondered about on a Max. I don't like the speaker grill covered or the pattern really but the door pockets could be really sweet. Is it stretched and glued or just stretched?

Interesting cheap mods. Were the side pockets easy to pop out?

The whole idea of unique styling is to style by personality... The Bandanna signifies my hip-hop tastes... you could do any style you desire. The pockets can be done VERY simply... all you do is take a fingernail file or something that can get in beween the cloth and the plastic and the fabric peels right off. It is attached by spray adhesive and can be removed easily. What i did was cut a piece of cardboard to wrap the new cloth around by tracing the old cloth. I used a hot glue gun to attach the new cloth to the cardboard. Then used spray adhesive to adhere the design to the door panel...and your done...good luck...hope I gave you guys some ideas...

I actually bought the car with the trunk that way so...I wouldnt know... but it shouldn't be that hard to do...I don't think it takes much except to peel off the adhesive...

i have read the stickies about that and it seems ok until u get to the part where u use some chemical to rub off the glue under the letters, it looks like the glue is black as well so if done incorrectly or if u use the wrong chemical then it could run off on the rest of the trunk

gona wait for hot weather for this one

BTW at least get rid of that crome on the air vents, it doesnt match the max style

So it actually doesn't just pop off? I wouldn't want to not be able to return to stock, I thought it was pulled over the existing fabric.

If you use goo gone it shouldn't be too hard to take the adhesive off... just put it on a rag and rub it off. But the chrome on the air vents... It's not about the style of the max... it's my style... that's why it's unique. I like chrome and hip-hop...they go together.

well... just keep the old fabric and glue it back on. Spray adhesive is a weak adhesive... You wont ruin anything. Mine just peeled right off...you can easily return to stock.

nice job on the creativity. Not everyone will agree with your tastes (I'm not really feeling all the little chrome trim stuff) but who cares?

I like the idea with the bandanas - not my style, but nicely done nonetheless.....

well its your car so props on creating your own style. I wouldn't say we admire it tho. I think all the chrome stuffs looks ridiculously tacky and shouldn't be on the inside or outside of the car. But it is your car so have at it. My $.02

Damn let the man shine. His culture, his taste, his money, his car. If thats what he likes, then chill, let that man be. You should appreciate the fact that unlike alot of us that follow trends blindly because its what's hot, he thought outside the norm and went against the grain. He just wants to show off what HE created. I don't remember him taking a poll, or even asking for opinions. Title simply states "UNIQUE interior and exterior styling." You don't like it fine, but don't bash or flame the man for it, there are other threads that solicit opinions.

yeah well the whole point of posting was to show it off. He said, "admire" which means he wanted us to look. Part of this forum is people being able to say they like it or don't. Basically everyone said nice idea and creativity but it wasn't our style. Plus, I don't know where you see people flaming him. It's obvious when someone flames. If you don't want comments on stuff like this then don't post.

Hey... all that is important is that I got feedback. But of course it's my style. I'm sure that if I was to poll everyone about what kind of music everyone likes the most... Hip Hop would be dead last. So I know my audience. I was expecting nobody here would totally appreciate the Bandannas and chrome so... there's no hard feelings. If you come to me to all the urban areas around the country you'll hear " Damn dawg I like dat sh*t" or "Wow!!! Never seen that man!! I like it!!" So... I'm not mad at ya... I know people like even if you guys don't.

Relax. This isn't The People's Republic of China and we actually have the freedom of information exchange. Some people like the idea, some people don't. Even the thread creator has a firm grasp on this concept.

I like that you added some originality to your car, however, you really should have found one of those grey camoflaouge bandanas instead, that would look pretty sick

I was thinking about the grey camo. The only thing is the black bandana was easy to find. That would look good though. Maybe when I decide to change it, I'll try it out.

Oh trust, the opinions are not a problem, however when you start talking about take this off, change that, you should have done it like this. Well that's a problem.

props on originality man, and most mufflers wont make your car much louder when you keep the rest of the exhaust stock. Also fr33way, I feel myself doing that in some LV for the summer....
