Restoring low-end power

I'm seriously looking into getting a mevi, but i'm a little nervous about the loss in low-end torque. Is there a specific mod that does to low end power what the mevi does with high end power? Like what if people want to jack up their torque what do they do?

(supercharge it, i know lol )

is there anything else you can do?

I dont know what your goals are but the VQ has some pretty nice low end power as it is. But anyway i would recom the 00VI. No loss in low wen and tons in high end. You can search and find more info but as a comparo here it is.

get the mevi its easier to install and the amount of low end hp loss u lose is not even noticable (butt dyno) i can gaurantee that u wont be disappointed . if i was more mechanically incline i would probably just go 3.5 but for now the mevi is more then enough with the ecu combo even without the ecu i was very happy and im a horse power freak. unless u can install and fix any problems with the oovi that might occur i wouldnt cause not too many mechanics will want to mess with it . but look into it some more there are plenty of threads i remember reading on it that should help u out in makin ya decision.

Wrong again, if you're referring to the Stillen SC, sincs it builds power, it isn't very impressive down low.

Have you ever heard of the JWT ECU?

Or indirect timing advance via MAF conditioning? If you haven't, I'd suggest you do some searching.

I would say 00vi over MEVI but it's your call. If you want to build power do that or 3.5 and gain a lot more hp all over. I would rather 3.5 then SC.

Get rid of the GLE and get an SE, 5-speed if you want a better low end.

Get a 5-speed for a shorter 1st gear and ditch your heavy 18" rims, you'll be a lot quicker off the line.

You'll be quicker without all that extra stuff in your car, too.
