Yeah, the 225s are really skinney and it looks a little ridiculous. When I wear these out I'll put 245s.

Exactly what I was thinking...it has that whole Euro VW/Audi super stretched fad going on.

Looks good other than that! The blacked out R34's look pretty damn good on Pebble Beige.

looks great bro. i have 225s on my g35 18x8s and its stretched a little. i think it looks fine. if you pay close attention to g35s and 350s, alot of them are running 225s.

I love the look of the chrome grill with the r34 headlights. They really compliment each other. Nice ride!

Oh yeah, get a little niteshades off of ebay and tint the fogs. The front will look sick.

I'm actually a closet VW freak (probably not so secret when you look at the 4 or 5 I've owned since I turned 16 haha). Just not a fan of the stretched look.

i dont think u should go with the 245's... i have 245's on my ride and the tires rub sometimes when im turnin and also, it throws my odometer off.. i would go with 235... but ur ride looks nice...

Looks good man. Us beige riders gotta represent. I think the wheels and the lights look great on the car. Maybe a 235 tire would have been better, but it's still nice man.

I was at the dealership this week and saw a 350 that the dealer had equipped with Nismo toys...one of the things that I noticed was that they had the Nismo rims, and the tires looked so stretched that I was afraid that they would pull off of the bead.

I guess it looked safe to them...

Looks good, but I must extend a word of warning as I do not know the exact offset on the 350Z wheels... I worked on a 92 Maxima that the owner had outfitted with g35 wheels, looked nice, but the offset was so wrong that they had destroyed his wheel bearings and mangled his studs, and were just generally messing things up a whole bunch. Granted, his was an older, smaller body Maxima but if I were you I would MAKE SURE that you are dealing with the absolutely correct offset because I'm telling you buddy, had that guy stayed driving on that setup for another week or two he would have lost a wheel on the highway (all 5 studs were mangled, but 2 were on the verge of complete detachment). Just something to keep in mind. Good luck!

As a fellow owner of the same color max, which is often one that most of us didn't like and which took me some time to get used to, I have to say. You have a beautiful car bro. I was considering doing those rims and dropping it aswell...but wasn't sure how the black would look (lights). I like it. I might actually go through with my plan. Beautiful car man.

thanks for the comments everyone, i checked out the space i have and i seriously doubt the 245s would fit without rubbing. i think 235/45 might fit nicely. once i wear these tires out thats what i'll go with. they ride perfectly, honestly better than stock. i have k sport springs and stock shocks. the offset on these rims is 30. if i'm not mistaken the stock 16s are 35..

Hey bro, I also wanted to ask, how dark is your tint? I'm getting mine done in two weeks or so and like yours. Is your interior tan or grey/black?

This just shows what every 4th Gen owner already knows. The 97 Max was the best year of the 4th Gen's produced. Looks wise, style wise and less mechanical issues wise. Car looks awesome man.

This made me VERY concerned...has anyone had similar experiences in a 4th gen?! What is the range of offsets that is safe for the max?

I don't believe that at all. He's posting pics of his 4th gen for the 4th gen forum to see and comment on. There's not a freakin thing wrong with that.

Looks good man.

Looks good man. That makes me want my 97 front end retro done so bad. That looks like you have 20% tint on there. That is what I have and it looks like that with a tan interior.
