Where to get flex sections?

My Budget has the killa bees in the can.. Anyone know where besides eBay I could get one?

I'm gonna try contacting LSS tomorow to see how much they'd charge for a replacement if at all..

Did you try using exhaust wrap? I remember reading that it helps some, might be worth a shot and cheaper too.

Im confused though, isnt the Y-pipe one piece? How are you going to replace the flex section? Do you have to saw it apart and then reweld it?

No, you didn't. This (my) face was at this thread.

They should have them around any decent exhaust shop. That, and a soda machine that has cut-out sheets of paper with the name of the soda in the little boxes you press instead of the fancy pictures.

If you do take it in, have them slice up the Y and make it equal-length.

What do you think I should tell them to do, use some mandrel bent 2.5" loop to make the rear pipe equal with the front?..

Because this isn't a bad idea, but I sort of have to get it knocked out in on day when I do end up doing it.

I had to get the flex section replaced at a local shop 2 months ago. It took less than 2 hours.

Im just curious, how much did that run you? Isnt that over 100 dollars worth of labor alone?

Apparition, did the person who sold you the bee-hive mention anything about the noise?

No, as revealed earlier in the thread he got it used.

Apparition, if you get the loop done I would be interested in cost and sound clips. Also, name it the Fr33way loop. I have no mods named after me (yet).
