Is there any way to add a Homelink transmitter to my 95? I see on the Homelink website that they dont currently sell them aftermarket. Any ideas?

I don't know what else is involved apart from the little transmitter thingy on the visor of the Driver side door. I guess it should not be too difficult. I suggest that if you do proceed with this mod, use the 98 - 99 HOmelink system and not the 95 - 97 as the older one has problems with Rolling Code security. See the other threads regarding that.

Yeah, I was wondering if those things are hardwired or if it is just a little battery operated unit. Thanks for the info on the rolling codes thing.

I too have been inquiring about the homelink for my 96. Courtesy couldn't tell me for certain if it would work but if the mirrors on the visor are lighted then it has a constant power supply that I assume could be used for the homelink transmitter.
