the clutch and flywheel of choice
anybody know any good clutch/fw combos. i hear the 5th gen clutch is better but at advance auto the parts numbers are the same for both. im getin it installed for 350 and i wanna stay under 1K. any suggestions on where and which ones to get, u can see my mods, and i am usualy pretty easy on my clutches but love a stiff one

If your staying with N/A mods, meaning NO boost, then the 5th gen Clutch Setup will be fine for you. Just make sure you order it from a Nissan and you dont get their "Key Value" brand which isnt as good quality.
If you want something a bit grabbier and harder, the Exedy Stage ONE is great clutch as well.
Fidanza makes a great Flywheel for the maxima if you wanna spend an extra $400 but isnt needed....

Do you really think that a 5th/4th gen hybrid kit won't handle boost? Not doubting you, just curious.
I know that a lot of guys have run the 4th gen or 4/5 hybrid pretty hard at the track, but I don't know if any were FI.
skweaky-
If you do decide to go with the OEM or OEM hybrid, go through DaveB- he knows exactly what you need to get the proper setup for the hybrid. Pay attention to the part in matt's quote that I bolded.
