Low idle,stall on startup-fixed!

Cleaned my throttle body.. everyone says to do it but didn't think it would help that much... IACV is next when I get the gasket

Before and after pics of my Cefiro at 260km's. My car would die on cold startup sometimes unless I held the revs.. now idles at 900 so will adjust it back down with the idle screw (had to adjust up in first place due to stalls)

Excellent pictures my friend, this is the EXACT same problem i was having all winter long, but as the temperatures are getting warmer the problem is beginning to dissapear. I plan on cleaning the TB and IACV when it gets really warm outside and I will take plenty of pictures as well. I credit 2da_mizzax for the directions on doing this.

What gaskets did you order for the whole job ?
I know there is an IACV gasket that needs to be replaced, is there one for the TB as well ?
Did you use one bottle of specific TB cleaner on the TB and will you use a different cleaner on the IACV ?

Also that is the same reason i am not adjusting my idle right now, its low at 550 rpm, but i want to clean those 2 things first and then see where the idle lands

Yes I just ordered a TB gasket.. and a IACV (which I have cleanned yet). I used a throttle body cleaner for TB and will also use for IACV

Just from cleaning my TB my low idle and stall at startup was fixed.. without adjustment (just clean tb) my idle went from 700 at idle to 1100rpm which would be the amount I had adjusted the IACV UP to compensate preclean. Adjusted idle from 1000rpm back to 700rpm at idle.. startups smooth revs settle nicely at 700rpm

The other thing that has same symptoms (car dies on startup or while driving will stall at low rpms) is the ECTS (engine coolant temp sensor) .. check for codes (doesn't always thow the Check Light)

Yeah but i have none of those symptoms. Just in the morning it dips then goes up. When the night prior is cold it just dips and stalls...unless i give it a rev! but after that one little rev its fine. I thought it would be the fuel filter though. My uncle told me to trun the ingnition but dont start it and wait a few seconds. I tried it and it doesnt stall it just dips low. Could this be the fuel filter?

Our cars get more similar by the minute Chris. I've been putting this job off for months now. I cannot start my car in cold weather when its been sitting without reving the rpms. It idles so damn low. Next weekend maybe i'll brave the cold and clean the tb, egr, and iacv.... maybe...
