PPL who have replaced/rebuild their auto-tranny step right in

Around what mileage did your tranny die on you?

I think my tranny is on it's last leg, no codes as of yet but i think I might be having some slipage (if that is possible in an auto)

129.7K on the Max
regular maintenance

and what can I expect quoted for a swap?

I got quoted 1700 for an engine & tranny swap combo parts incl. (the newer engine would have 73K miles on it). is that a good deal?

I'd try to do it myself if I have a lift / enclosed garage....

But if any of you fellow Maxima owners in the indy area, help me out i'll bring a keg over
