Both are automatics. The SE has every option except heated seats (its pretty weighted down), and both are stock in the performance department. Gonna race him this Sunday. Dont know if I will win, and if by alot or a little. drop me your opinions.
thanks,
Cyrus

Well, it depends on the condition of the cars..the 2000, having less wear and tear on his car, would fair better in that area...but i always thought the 4th gen. maxima's to be the best looking, lightest and fastest. It also depends on how you launch....I wouldnt be surprised if you won. Good Luck.

I have both stock and my 97 up until about 80 has a 3/4 car leadand friend of mine drove the 97 and I the 2k1. Initially it has a slightly over a full car length on my 2k1 and at about 85 or so we were even and at about 90 he had a 1/4 car lead.Depending on how long you race and your launch I would say you should have the advantage, the 2k+ autos have no grunt down low.
