Intake Question (not a newb question)

Ok I just picked up a nitrous kit and in order to make the plumbing easier i need either a cold air or short ram. I dont want to spend much since the kit just killed my wallet. Whats a good bang for the buck? I searched but didnt find much on recent ebay intakes. Thanks
Zack

That is, if your looking for any old intake. If your looking for reliability and performance, go to www.cattmanperformance.com and ****** up a PRCAI before they're all out or buy a Cattman CAI (Same as PRCAI, just cost more and only comes in polished black I think)

yea, as far as i know, they dont give you a template, the only way it would fit was pretty much directly underneath where the battery sat. This one does not fit like the place racing where it goes around the battery and underneath the fuse box thats against the fender. It does however sit in that little compartment behind the bumper, right in front of the fenderwell

agreed, despite how slow it is, it sounds a lot faster =)

As for your intake, go for an ebay CAI, they are all just as great and are just like the PRCAI, just you need to make your small hole under the battery and as long as you arent a total nit wit (we all were at one point) should be a successful and easy install for you, not to mention how great it will sound!

Hole for my installation was exactly 3 inches snug, had to force intake pipe in, but not it sits very firmly with no problems =)

I talked to a local vendor here in socal that might arrange group org discounts for the PRCAI ebay replica, its really not a bad intake at all....
keep updated! =)
