What do I use to convert? I already have the clear taillights, but they look kind of tacky with the clear not matching up to the red.

Do I just buy red taillight spray tint and darken the bottome? Help please!

well you have 3 options:

1)try and beg David Loa to make you a set of them.
david17@earthlink.com

2) you can spray the top half of the tails black but make sure that it is light enough to allow light to show through when dry. I have seen this and it looks hot! kinda like the VW's

3) take apart your clear tail and spray them from the inside. Its really the best way to keep it looking good.
or you can spray them on the outside but i dont reccomend it!

goodluck!

Contact jtypehobbies@aol.com. They have permanent red taillight paint for about $20--you paint the outside. I bought mine from them and it works great.
