Some KS info to pass

I have been getting the KS code (with EGR) for a month now. I finally ordered one as if it was throwing a code it had to be bad. I pulled the connectors apart to make sure I didn't need the pigtail and put it back togeather. I started it and the idle went to 600 RPM. I drove it and it was a different car.
Somehow everything looked and felt tight but just unplugging and reconnecting it got it going again. Bottom line, if you get the code, unplug and reconnect, maybe you can save youself some $$ and aggravation.

Maybe some electrical contact cleaner and di-electric grease would help more?

KS has no effect on idle.
