When i'm driving at night with the lights on and i brake to slow down,my rear passenger brake light shuts off.It only seems to happen when i have my lights on when i brake.Otherwise it works fine.I tried replacing the bulb but that doesn't help.Does anyone know what could be wrong? Im thinking its a short in the wire or something.

 

Change the bulb easy job in owners manual.

IIRC 1156 is the bulb you need

 

check the harness, ive had that problem before and i had to play with the wires on the harness and ended up taping it in a certain position so that it worked properly....then i just bought a new harness
