I have a short ram intake and today i took off my K&N filter to recharge it and i sprayed the mass air flow sensor cleaner inside the throttle body and on the sensor . After cleaning the filter and letting it dry i installed everything back and i started the engine, i then realized after i started the engine that i forgot to connect the mass air flow sensor plug, so i turned off the engine, connected the plug and started the car and then boom the service engine light comes on. the car drives fine and sounds fine, could have the maf sensor gone bad?. thanks in advance for all your help

 

The light came on because you had it unplugged. You have to reset the ECU before it goes away.

On a another note while cleaning the TB i found some oil there.. where could that have came from?
