i found headers online, i though headers were more hardcore than stainless steel. unless the stainless steel are the pos budget ones, some feedback please, i want nasty headers, im doing the 3.5 swap in june.

edit** i hate the high pitched buzz sound, would stainless steel headers made that sound?

Hot shot is out of the headers business, so that option is no more.

What did you expect them to be made of? Depleted Uranium?

Cattman's seem to be a favorite around here. There's a complete thread in the AM forum.

Depending on the year of 3.5L you get, EGR will or wont be an issue. 04+ have external EG, like your car does now. 02/03 do not have external EGR, so they wont have a need for it.

Should be your rear muffler and cats that give you a buzzy or droney note not your headers - they only really come into things sound-wise up top. Maybe I'm wrong but that's my experience with the Maxes/Cefs here.

Anyway, count yourself lucky you HAVE a VQ35...lucky bas tard.

You don't really notice your headers (at least I don't) until you pass 3k rpm - again I would have thought they will contribute very little to any droney or buzzy bee sound (your muffler and cats or resonators mainly).

$1,000...that's so unfair. Cheapest option for one in NZ is about $3k NZD.

i just finished talking to the guy whos gonna do mine, hes gonna buy the engine, with less than 25,000, and put cam spacers on it, and do anything else it needs to just be dropped in for 1350$. i just have to drive like 2 hours to go pick it up, hes gonna keep my engine though, but i get to strip everything off of it, he only needs the block and stuff itself, i keep the coils and wires and all that ...wait for pictures and video come july i cant effin wait. 3.5 with full exhaust headers back and intake. holy crap is the max gonna fly

OBX has a new design that they have released...personally i think, they look just as good as the hotshots and the cattmans...mostly because of the price....alot cheaper...might want to look around they have been mentioned on here recently...very good quality...

Besides the shiit y-merger and the fact that you have to cut part of the motor mount to fit them....
