mixing injectors..

I had 2 injectors replaced a couple months ago and now another one has gone down so i am going to replace the other 4. My question is, since I dont want to take my car to the mechanic i had it at before (cheating me i think) I was wondering its alright to just buy 4 new injectors online and replace them myself? If I have 2 of one type, and 4 of another, will there be issues; or is an injector and injector as long as they're not performance ones or anything like that? thanks

also, can injectors "go bad" or do they just get really dirty and having them cleaned would fix the issue?

As long as they are the same size/style(sidefeed) they should work just fine.
