car wont start after battery disconnected, security problem?

i just finished up changing flywheels and i went to start the car, and nothing happens. i just recently got a key fob and started using it. is there some type of reset i have to do when the security is enabled?

No the 95-98 security isn't THAT advanced. Did you hook up the starter ground?

Check to see if the starter is getting power when you turn the key.

part of the starter ground wire that was heat shrinked together came un done, but now the car cranks but doesnt run.

Fuel pump fuse in? Crank sensors connected?

yes, and yes. im getting very high rpm readings when cranking 3-5k.

Uh oh. Weren't you the one that had to adjust the sensor? Ring is off/sensor is off.

i got it started, i moved the sensor a bit closer to the ring.
