The japanese mount their plates around where the passenger side foglight is, or would be. remember they're RHD..

Nothing special about it, they drill into the bumper. Mostly they just dont mount it in the center like many do here, that's the only difference.

If I can recall they do put it exactly where the passenger fog is....and the fogs go on the lower opening where you can see the radiator.

They stick it away from thecentre for the drift/rally look where the Intercooler won't be blocked my the license plate ( sure they don't have turbos but that doesn't stop them)

i had that setup for a while.

but took if off to install fogs. the place where you drill the 2 holes is under the bumper so when you remove it, it will still look clean. its a L shaped bracket with a 90 degree bend.

I got hastled in Texas for having AZ plates, they got me out of my car and sniffed my bottle of water and tested the mayonaise stain on my car seat for "methamphetamines". A bit of wasted time later he let me go. Got my plates switched over and went and bought the uber cool "front licence plate mount" ... it sits in my backseat now. Went to the junkyard and tryed to get a front-mount for the car. Behold! We dont have it and want to charge you 40-50$ for it concidering on wether its plastic or metal.

Drill the holes... save your time.
