custom trunk lip

I have been thinking about have a custom trunk lip spoiler made for my max. I have had the stock spoiler, the super style spoiler and now its wingless.

so far imo i like the wingless look the best. Has any of you guys had a trunk lip put on? how does it look? any thoughts would be great.

The M3 lip is nice. Personally, I'd still prefer no spoiler.

I had it on one of my Max's. Check on my homepage, its the Max on the bottom of the 1st page. I bought it from paradox about 2-3 years ago.

I think that the trunk needs to have something on it. I really like the stock spoiler and the bmw lip spoiler. IMO the wingless trunk looks kinda lame.

is that pic on your myspace a recent one? I would go with a lip on that, itll give it something extra, without anything on the trunk it looks like its sagging almost

personally i dont really like the shape of the stock spoiler. its not stylish or agressive looking. it looks outdated to me. plain looks better than stock and is atleast a little more classy, imo. right now mines plain but im gonna get my lip spoiler on there soon tho within the month.

I modded my m3 wing to the trunk. And man does it look nice. I made it look like if it came stock from the factory.

sorry for thread hi-jack, but i'm just curious how you cover the holes from the oem spoiler if you're switching to a lip spoiler.

Have a professional weld the holes closed, sand, and paint.

No i dont have one. I have to take one!!

Im telling you the truth if you want it modded take it to a shop. I did all the work on it and it was hell. I was about 2 weeks of work to finish it. And no i painted the whole car after that.
