car turns off in drive

my car turns off when i put it in drive or reverse please help

sorry i couldn't help, but i'm just curious if it would work if you put it in neutral, tap a lil gas and shift to drive.

Odd subject line. He probably means more so that the car just shuts off rather than dies in rpms..

Check your ECTS (Engine coolant temp sensor) or just replace for $20 - probably due if high mileage

See how dirty your Throttle Body is.. will give low idle

Clean Air filter..

car ran fine for 2 days and took a sh*t on me now i will see what the dealer will rape me for

Try checking the TPS or Fuel filter

IS your car manual??

Because I have the same problem ,but my car turn off when I start slowing down dramatically. For example If i am in the freeway and i let my car slow down by putting it on Neutral and let slow down by itself. I turn OFF.

I think has to do with the Idle but dunno..
