cracked bumper and Ideas?

I am thinking that I could tape behing the pumper, and If I take my time it will be hard to tell its cracked, maybe a few inconspicuous zipties...

My question is... Is there any special tape designed for this application, or that works well? besides ductape,, I was thinking maybe even an apoxy then tape and a few zipties, and it will look almost perfect?!?

any other ideas before I start?

Thanks guys,
Dave

Apoxy Works great... My girlfreind Reversed into a dumpster and broke her side mirror into a few places. I used a clear apoxy and glued everything back together then glued it back to the car. You cant really tell unless you get right up on it. It's been holding great for about a year now. That should be all you need. Maybe use some tape just to hold the joints together while it dries. Sorry to hear about the cracked bumper that sucks!!

The solution

If you go to an auto paint store, they will have a repair kit designed for the insiude of bumpers. I used one a while ago, and it lasted for years.

I took the bumper off last night and tried to epoxy it nice and neet, and it worked like crap.. I even used a special plastic weld epoxy.. So I drilled holes and zip tied it togother from the inside... then I taped the back inside of the bumper for added support... It is Solid now, but the zipties are a little noticable from the front, but it looks alot better than when it was all cracked and broken... almost looks like stitches... LOL

I figure I'll buy a new bumper soon... and hopefully next year I'll paint the car... I have a few other blemishes that need to be addressed as well...

Thanks for the input..
