what kind of bulb does the interior light use on a 96 max? i looked in the owners manual and the interior lighting sticky but i got no luck.

i took out the bulb and took it into autozone and i got a replacement

the bulb is the interior light above the head rests in the center, on the roof of the inside

Like the other guy said. I would just take the bulb out and bring it to autozone.

if youre referring to the light in the middle of the roof its called "dome light". i know sylvannias website should tell you the bulb model # for dome light.

the map light is a dealer item in my car... autozone said they did not cary it, so I bought one that looked close, and it worked fime... I think it was a #55
I think the dome in a tube style bulb, and autozone only has 2 or 3 dif kinds, jut take it in and ask for help...
