Need a Knock sensor installed in Jacksonville, FL, willing to pay!

EDIT: Someone has volunteered, nobody else needs to respond.

My 95 Maxima is throwing the dreaded knock sensor code and it needs to be replaced.

If anybody in Jacksonville, FL has previous experience (sucessfully) replacing the knock sensor on a 4th gen max then I will pay you up to $20 to install it for me.

I'll probably be ordering the knock sensor off ebay soon, so it would be sometime next week that I would be doing the install.

Hit me off on PM. We can see what we can come up with. I changed mine a while back...but if I remember...it was not that difficult...just tight space.

I have a 95 Maxima too and I am wondering how many miles are on the car.

I gathered a knock sensor typically has to be replaced at about 100K, but perhaps it is higher-mileage than that. I am only at 68K.

Looks like I'm good to go for another 15 years or so at the rate I'm going, lol!

Well, the knock sensor seems to go at a random time, so you never really know.

Capital15 is going to help me with the knock sensor. So, no need for anyone else to volunteer.

Same here, I don't think it had it at 120k though when I originally got the car.

I am actually not down there yet. I move down there on Monday to start a new job. Right now I'm actually in Raleigh, NC. I'll be up north by the airport when I do move down there though.
