For any one that has a 97 max. You can change the bulbs that plug into the back of the cluster. Pep boys or any other part store carrys small colored bulbs two in a pack (I don't know the size #, it's the same size as the running lights in the front bumper lights) .
Unscrew the the plastic dash cluster cover, disconnect the three wire clips that plug into the cover, unscrew the dash cluster, disconnect the three clips that plug into the dash cluster, then pop it out. in the back of the cluster you will see 5 *****,turn ***** to the left and change the bulbs (what ever color you want), do this to all 5 put it back together and you done. I put blue and red bulbs in and at night it looks crazy. I know this trick may not work on
the 98 and up because they change the cluster (electronic speed-O) and the bulbs are the really really small one's (i don't know the size #)but if they make this size in colors you can do it. Someone Holla Back if you like it.
God Bless,
Maxi-milliyon, P.S. if I'm late i'm gonna feel stupid!

Damn that sounds FAT! When did they put electronic speedos in? I've been in 99's and it was the same inside, except I think the SE-Limited had a more graphite like background.

digital odo, not speedo

maxi-milliyon misspoke himself. The 98+ have digital odo's, not speedo's.

Have anyone tried changing the lights on the center consol, where the fan, and climate controls are? If you do the guage bulbs blue, I just think that it would look kinda funny if you don't change the lights by the climate controls too. Is it possible to change those?
