Cefrio Headlights
Hey guys,
I've noticed lately that eBay has had a big increase in the Cefrio style headlights for the Maxima. Are they worth buying?
Also has anyone got a good write-up to install these. I know there not direct boltons, the description says DBO, but its not
Thanks, Brent

Might want to try searching this forum for answers to your questions. There are plenty of threads in here with these lights as topics.
That being said, from what I have read, they do fit without having to do any mods like the Ceifros, however I have read that the beam pattern that those put out is not good.

I don't care about the name. It's not like imma pull my headlight out and show them what brand they are.

if you are talking about the R34 style lights, those require no cutting and direct bolt on..

I'm referring to the 1 piece R34 headlights. They look like Cerfio and I think he was referring to that as well.

ah, if that's the case, then no need write up.. 4 bolts to remove the old ones, 4 bolts to secure the new lights..

ah, the R34 Dual Lens 1-pce lights...
no modification required... "plug and play".. remove the old lights, insert new lights and voila...
but buyer beware, lot of .org members stated the light output on them are craptastic!

Basically these lights convert you 9004's to a 9006/9005 lighting system. I'm too lazy to check mine but I think 9006 are the lows and 9005 are the highs. They use a special harness that connects to your 9004 socket. I'm getting mine retrofitted with TSX projectors by an org member just as soon as hid planet gets in their chrome bezels back in stock.

Same thing as the lights posted above except these come with a crappy HID kit. The beam pattern on these lights aren't improved much with an HID kit. If you really want good output from these lights then invest in retrofitting projectors into the housing.
