o2 Sensor on the FRITZZZZ

Hello, my rear bank o2 sensor is fawked up says the CEL/ECU. I have an old front bank o2 sensor laying around, so i was wondering if they are interchangeable? i noticed the ends of the o2 sensors that go into the Y-pipe are different, like one have more holes in it.

anyway: can i put a front bank o2 sensor in a rear bank o2 bung and have everything fully functional after i solder the wires together?

ayo

Didn't you just have a thread on this?

EDIT: Can't seem to find it but there was just a thread about using front O2's in place of the rear around here. Not sure what the answer turned out to be.

Yes they are interchangeable.

The rear one in the cat is different.

Sorry, must've skipped right over the 'bank' and just read 'front' and 'rear'.
