clutch noise when going into 1st/Reverse
so here's what happens...
I shift into R and when i'm slipping the clutch to get the car going, there's this weird mid range metal-like noise. like a hum or a howl, until i fully let off the clutch. i kind of imagine something rubbing against something but i don't fully know what it is...
sometimes it happens when I'm going into 1st as well, but only after I initially start up the car. after 5 mins of driving, it doesn't happen anymore.
anyone have any ideas?
thanks!

i get that sometimes when its colder, and even sometimes when its warm its weird. Its like a metal binding noise, I continually refer to it as the sound of sliding a metal stool on a tile floor or something, not a pleasant noise. I have no clue what it is though, i know its the clutch probably but it only does it every so often so im not gonna worry about it until i buy another clutch.
