Seafome works

I have seen so many threads about seafome on the org and so many mixed opionions on if it works or not. Well I deciced to put it to the test. I took the intake system off and looked through the throttle body with a flashlight and there was a layer of grease and grime back there. So I put every thing back to gether an seafomed, I followed the directions on the bottle and the next day I looked in the TB an the mess was gone the inside was still black from the dirt build up but there was no sticky stuff like before it was just smooth metal. I guess it was just stained from the dirt and grease being on there for so long. I dont really feel a diff. in performance or idle but I think a 10 min smooke show, and a cleaner intake manifold and internals is worth it. I just thought some poeple who were not sure about seamfoming would like to hear this.

there has been mixed results with seafoam. Some swear by it, some say don't do it.

I got mine at autozone so it should be easily available.

I think it works very well. I added some into the oil and into the gas, really smooths it out. When you think about it though all that grime and ****goes into your engine and it spits it back out, good for the intake and TB line but I cant imagine burning all that crud in your pistons is ever a good thing.

ive had good results with BG44K. you get it in a pack of 3 things, the BG 44K goes into the tank, theres a can of TB/IM cleaner, just spray it in and it cleans, pretty much like brake cleaner but it doenst dry as fast. theres something else in the package, but i cant remember what it is. I used it, and my gas mileage got a bit better and the car seemed overall smoother.
