Cigarette lighter doesnt work?

one day out of nowhere it just stopped working? i even replaced the orange and black wiring with new ones and they still dont seem to work, can anyone help me pinpoint the problem? could it be a fuse? if so where do i look for the fuse at?

The fuse is down in the pannel by your Left knee. sitting that is. if you can't get it to work, you can always wire in a new one. hope ya get it fixed!

just changed mine the other day, mine was a fuse problem. the fuse is to the bottom left of your steering column, just pull out the brown cover and it will reveal all the fuses. the diagram in my car wasnt accurate at all, but it did tell me that it is a 15 amp fuse, and that it is in the first row of fuses. so i just went down the row checking all of them until i found a blown one.

You serious? Naw but seriously, it looks broken. There's a "filament" if you will, inside the platic part of the fuse. You should be able to look at it and see that it isn't touching the other side. Very similary to a blown bulb.

My cigarette lighter also didn't work. The fuse turned out to be blown, so luckily enough it was a cheap fix.
