Clear Headlights

does anyone know if the Headlights can be changed out with a clear lensed headlight assembly? One that is crystal clear and the bulbs can be seen through?

ummmmm, yes
you can change the 95-96 headlights with the 97-99 headlights with no problem at all.

other than the junkyard, what is the best way to go about this? Dealer?

www.carlamps.com They have them there for $115 a piece but there was a thread earlier quoting $160 for the pair. Go to the site and email them, tell them about the quote... He should hold to it.

Yup, the 97-99 head-lights come STOCK with that nice look. Kinda takes away from the sporty look and gives the car a luxury look in my opinion...but go for it ! I might do the same in a long while..

man im glad i upgraded from those nasty a$$ looking 95/96 glass headlights. IMHO the 97/99 style looks 100 times better, especially on a 96 max

Don't you have to change the grill and bumper when you change the 1995-1996 style headlights to 1997-1999 style headlights?

Don't think so.... headlights stay the same shape... bumper and grill changed...
