EGR valve to cap or not to cap?
alright so ive taken out my stock headers and the rear header bung for the egr tube is NOT in the right spot. hate it wen that stuff happens after a long job. so i either can take off the pipe and bend it or just cap/block it. any suggestions? successful caps w/out problems? also i wanna no if u get a check engine light after and how u might fix that. last question... in the future wen this is all on i might need to get an o2 simulator. are the cheap $10 simulators on ebay good and simple enough to work or no? thanks much for any help heres the link for the simulator

If you cap your egr valve you will get a check engine light... my advice to you don't cap...why...well right now mine is caped off and the engine has a bad miss at like 4k but im not sure if its because i need a tune up...to lazy to look at the plugs... anyway if its too much too put it on just block it up but only use 93 octane gas so theres less unburned fuel. Don't worry about your check engine light mines been on since 120,000 miles my car has now 261,000 miles.
