Replaced outer CV boot - issues now

I changed the driver's side outer CV boot this weekend which seemed to go as OK as it could. Cleaned the joint, replaced c clips & repacked with grease. Got everything back together but when driving the car has vibrations when I turn right but not left. Also noticeable vibration when going downhill but not uphill, that I can fell at least, and also when coming to a stop, either in gear or neutral.
I guess it could be that CV joint but seems like it would have issues when I turn either direction and especially under an uphill load.
Wondering if it could be something else that I mucked up in the process?

Did you make alignment marks before you took it apart, so you could put it back together in the same orientation?

There was no mention of aligment orientation for the drivers side outer in the Haynes, only for the right side or inner CVs. Didn't have access to the FSM at the time I did it either.
