Where is there an Oil Seal Cover Tool available for purchase? What have people used to protect the oil seals for the halfshafts when reinstalling their axles?
I would not be pleased if I damaged the seals and had to do it again.

you mean the part that sits on the end of the shaft? i used a some pliers and tapped it with a hammer to get it off.

So it looks like you don't really need seal tool?

NO. The only person who benefits from you buying one of those things is the person who owns the tool factory.
