wheel spacers,negative effects?

experts, how bad is it for wheel alignment/hence tire wear, when your using maybe 10-20 mm spacers to widen your stance? by experts,I mean people who can speak from personal experience. sould you have your car realigned when you do it? Im guessing, tell them to get as much negative camber as you can? please elaborate

Spacers don't change camber. They will put more stress on your wheel bearings though. If your car is within specs no alignment needed.

That would eliminate the need for a spacer, IMO.

I've had my spacers for over a year now (12k miles) No problems whatsoever. What brand were the? Mine are H&R. No complaints, all compliments to these products.
