Larger diameter rims are not automatically heavier

I got 18" rims and I SPECIFICALLY looked for rims that would be no heavier than stock rims.
Yeah, if you get those rediculous BLING BLING rims, they'll be heavier but there are a ton of good racing rims out there in the 18" - 20" range that are not heavy at all.
Just because the rims have a larger diameter does not mean they are automatically going to be heavier than stock rims.
