hood wont close

hood wont close
The other day I accidentally slammed my hood and now it wont stay closed. It stays down but it dosnt sit flush with the body of the car. I tried messing with the hood latch but no luck...any ideas?

Check the latch (radiator area) and see why it isn't latching.

It can be adjusted accordingly. I remember one time, I couldn't get it OPEN.

i had the same problem although i didnt notice it, however my cousin did and just went and slammed it down hard at first i was pissed he did it but in the end i realized that it worked.

I think theres a latch on the left hand side I cant remember you push it from left to right try that, or maybe some wd40 its prob rusted out.

The latch is in the center. It gets wacky sometimes, and needs some persuasion. I have a favorite mallet, I call him Jose, the Persuader.

That's awesome. I have a wrench that has cured many seized screws...by knocking them off...
