Gas Gauge problem

I just recently did some work on my car: changed fuel filter, air filter, put in fuel injector cleaner, cleaned TB, cleaned out the intake system, new spark plugs, and oil change. Lately my gas pedal has been feeling stiff, i'm thinking maybe the cables connected to the throttle body, also my gas needle was on half and dropped to midway between half and a quarter and then came back up a little, i noticed a leak under the car but it was only water so i don't think there's a fuel leak.

check how tight the Trottle cables are, they should be tight but not leaving the throttle open.

check the fuel fitler for leaks, what does the spill under the car smell like ? like gas ?

what were u doing when the gas gauge played tricks on u ? i know that out gauges are the old kind that if u go uphill the fuel level changes on the gause (or downhill for that matter)

no the leak didn't smell like anything, seemed like water, probably just from the a/c, i was just driving home from work, not much uphill or downhill, but did rev it a little on a small strip of highway
