Need Help With Clutch

My clutch squeeks when I push it in. It does this when the car is on or off it does not matter and does it through all gears but does not sqeek when I let the clutch back out only when I push it down. The noise can be heard from inside and out side the car. I dont know if it is some thing as simple as lubing the clutch, I just dont know how to do that so I would like some help here on what you guys might think is making the sound and how to fix it. I appreciate any help.

Sounds like it's the pedal that needs to be lubricated, the spring on the clutch pedal.

My vote is for clutch pedal as well. Inside, under the dash, lay on your back in a really akward position and spray all moving parts with silicone lubricant or ptfe, just don't use wd40.

Sound to me like your clutch throwout bearing is one squeaking. If so, you have to do as much labor to replace your clutch as to replace the bearing. Most people just live with it. The bearing moves in the housing just a little and after time squeaks or groans. Thats why a bearing, pressure plate and clutch plate come in a clutch kit.

There are all moving parts under the dash for the pedal. Get under there with some White Lythium grease and make it speak and see where its coming from.

You hate the car cause of a squeak ??

I did spray every moving part under the dash and the sound went away inside the car but I think that is because there was a squeak inside and outside the car. Its the squeak out side the car that I cant figure out. And my car has had lots of problems and you dont want to get me started on that.

What are you "spraying" ??

Parts should have lithium grease on them
