Changing belts 1999 Maxima TENSION

They look rough so started it myself. A little tougher then I thought. Is there any special technique to get the right tension on the belts. Using the Haynes manual seems really good.

Set the tensioner adjustment bolt hand tight until you can feel the resistance change. If the belt squeal when starting the car, tighten it quarter turn more.

After you tighten the center nut, back off the tensioner adjustment bolt a little.
