use a razor but be very gentle so you dont scratch your window. use some kind of spray to. like water or goo gone. just be very gentle when you do it.

Razor blade and windex in a spray bottle by keeping it wet you get the glue too, usually, the ammonia trick is for the back windows with defroster,

Heat gun will help. Once you peel it off, amonia and clean razor to clean the adhesive off. Either way its gonna be a PITA.

agreed pain in the annus and time comsuming. they sell some tint film remover stuff in used on mine from autozone. you spray this on the film let it sit for 20 min and the film peels right off. the tuff part is removing all the glue. have plenty of windex and a sharp razor blade and go to town. good luck.

i just removed mine. The worst one was the rear window. It took me like 1 hour just for rear window. One factor you gotta keep in mind is that the rear window is double layered so make sure to take both of the layers at the same time. If one layer peels off and the other doesn't you will have to take it to a professional.

Reason I say that that is because you don't want to mess up the defroster lines.

<<<Speaking from experience. I accidently cut a small piece of the defroster line.

Rear defroster ways is spray down with ammonia and water mix, take a black plastic bag cut it open and stick it to the inside, on top of the spray mix and put it in the hot sun, this is supposed to "steam" it off, Have not tried it but I have to,

I just did the front two for my sister on her max yesterday....She lives in jersey too, I guess u got inspection coming up soon.

I just took a regular razor blad and peeled off a little bit at the corner and just ripped off the tint

Then take windex and use a razor blade to scrape the glue......razor blades wont scratch glass so dont worry. should take like 15-20 mins per window since its only the front two.

i agree the back is pita tho.
