Sunroof rust (4th gen)

I searched but have not found any threads on this. Do you just wait till it gets worst and replace it?

just replace the glass. it has the seal and metal all in one unit. make sure the screws line up as they are different form year to year.

I priced out a replacement on that... In Canada at the dealership.... $1000.

I'm going to wait until I think it's going to leak... then I'll replace it.

Thanks for the responses. Keep em coming, I seriously doubt I am the only one with this problem. These Sunroofs seal too well it seems, water stays trapped in the glass frame.

really??? I didn't even think to check ebay.
Awesome thanks
here's the catch though... Shipping to Canada will require my first born as payment... and no carrier (ups or whoever) will insure used glass.
I didn't find anything for a 95-99 glass. Only 04 and up.
I'll keep checking.
