Spark plugs: are Champion copper OK
Our local Canadian Tire outlet had a sale on Champion copper plugs, but for a 98 Maxima the NGK BKR5E-11 appear to be the recommended ones here. The Maxima was engineered on Platinum NGKs.
But am I OK with the Champions' or better to return for NGKs copper?
Sorry, I don't have the search feture, (this question has probably been queried many times)

Please stick with NGK's only, please throw the champions in the trash...... for me? Please?
Yes it was engineered on platinum NGK's, the only benefit to platinum plugs is the service interval, I will actually be putting NGK copper's in my car over the next few weeks, but that's for go fast laugh gas purposes........

I don't know if I buy that the engine was engineered around a spark plug.
NGK platinum was chosen probably because it's compatible with the ignition system and met the service interval criteria. A few have used denso plugs with no issues.
