Fair trade??

I just got a proposed trade today. A guy wants to trade my 98 Maxima for his 94 300ZX. It's non turbo, 5 spd, power everything, black leather, 186K miles. The only problem with the car is that it is primered right now. It also seems to need a passenger side skirt. Other than that it is in very good shape. Also it's a 2+2. Is this a good trade?

Well, I'm not really looking at it from a speed point of view. I'm really no t all that into speed. I have just wanted one my whole life. The only reason I even consider the trade is because I have a bad vibration in on the passenger side. It's in the pedal and the steering wheel. I believe that it is the steering rack. I don't want to throw another 2000 into it.

sounds like you dont really need advice then....you want it, get it.

my friend almost got a non turbo 300zx and it didnt seem to bother him that it wasnt turbo, but then again he thought his 97 accord was fast.

Like chillin said, it sounds to me you already have your mind about made up. Its not a very fair trade, and there are lots of down sides, but if its something important to you, go for it.

I don't think it is a fair trade at all. Don't forget to consider that the car is 13 years old with a lot of mileage to go with it. You should also expect to throw more money in this car because who knows what might be wrong with it.

Don't do it!!!!!!! Be paitent and something better will come along.

I have decided to pass on the Z. I really wanted it, but something about the guy told me that he was gonna rice the Max out. My baby is just too good for that. The guy was only interested in the retrofit.

Glad you came to your senses. I've always liked/wanted an F body, but would NEVER, and I mean NEVER get a V6.

Same principle for me goes for the Z32.

:Insert Z32 for F body and N/A for V6:
