I really want to tint my windows with mirror tint.. but I'm afraid it's going to look dumb. Anyone have pics with their windows tinted? I have a dark green Maxima.

RE: Mirror Tinting...

Sorry, I don't have any pictures. But, I actually have seen it on a dark green Maxima. It looks nice because of the subtle chrome trim around the windows . Just trying to help.

Regular tint is illegal in most areas. Even more so with mirror tint. But, you can get it in different mirror shades. It's kind of cool. At some tint shops, they call it Quantum Tint. Good luck. Show some pics if you decide to have it done.

Thanks guys! If I do it, I'll be sure to have pics here. Ya know... I put some Altezzas on.. I have a GLE so everything is trimmed in gold.. its looks really good. Maybe it will look even better with tinted windows, lol..

Well, it took over 6 hours, but I got the mirrow/smoke fade tint put on and it's NICE! I love it.. It cost $200, and it was worth it. I'll put a pic up later.. I'm going to wait until daylight because it looks better

I like the mirror tint, but I hate that at some angles you can see right into the car. It kinda kills the whole purpose of tint then.

now tell me something, i look at your second pic, i see that you have altezzas, thats means 95-96, then i see your lettering, the line under says to me 97-99, so which is it? im betting you have a 97-99, but u would be th first to have the altezzas on one bc they havent made them yet, so you would have to have gotten 95-96 altezzas, so they either fit just fine, or you modified it to make them work, if they fit fine, then we may be on to something here, pending of course on the year of your car

I have a 95 GLE... my "X" and "I" fell off after a car wash and they were lost. I called the dealership and the 97 emblem was cheaper than the 95. I liked it better too so I just put it on there. People ask if I have a 97+ though

RE: Letter Spacing...

I like the spaced out letters too...but the crunched up ones make a 96-96 looks like a newer model
