my baby got stolen

just as the title says.. heres the story

me and my brother decided to go to the mall to pick up a game (we got bored at home). We get to the mall and park my car, i set the factory alarm and my ICD alarm, the other alarm has a 1 minute ignition cut off if you dont press a button. on the remote. So i set both alarms and we both go into the mall to eb games, i swear to god i was in there no more then 5 minutes. So me and my brother got the game and left, and as me and him were walking to the car my brother spots glass of were my car WAS parked. So me and him run over to my the parking space, and my driver side door window was on the floor, literally my heart skipped 5 beats and i started to panic, so did my brother, so after i got myself together i called the cops and the mall security, they both came and they took my info and my car info, then after that the car investigators comes out and dusts for finger prints, they found a few and they leave.

So i call my insurance and i get that settled out, so i just gotta wait until they call. The thing that gets me the most is that there were a 2006 BMW M6 , mercedes benz, and a Chrysler sebring with its convertible W-I-D-E open.

My car had nothing appealing either, just 18 inch TSW vortex rims, and alpine audio system and it was dropped (but i dont think the car thiefs know about that)

Wow man, sorry to hear about that. Having something so personal like a car stolen, feels like such an "invasion". And maybe the thief thought that the max was going to be easier to steal than a beamer? IDK, what about the fuel-cutoff? I can't believe that your car was stolen that fast, in the middle of the day. Bummer man, sorry, and hope everything works out OK

Thats horrible, I kind of know the feeling, because I have a bad habit of forgetting where I parked and thinking I know where I formerly were. But nothing this crazy.

I'll keep an eye out on ebay for ya, tell you if I spot anything

99s immobilizer system FTMFW!!!

I am sorry to hear of your loss...hopefully it will be found untouched. It sucks to know that if someone really wants to steal your car...they will, even with an aftermarket alarm system. Hopefully your car will show up soon.

That seriously sucks, you just have to hope that the police can do their job or that there was good surveillance where you parked it. Either way I'll be looking on craigslist and ebay for you, definatley watch them. Also post in a local car forum because I've heard many stories of people seeing their car or having evidence. So use the internet to help yourself out.

Hope it's found in one piece, or maybe with a bunch of new expensive mods on it so you come out ahead and faster.

Alot of cars that are stolen from malls and they are really professionals because they have to be able to get in and out real quick. sad thing is when we start slacking on security that's when they usually hit. Word to the wise, activate your fuel cutoffs especially at the malls, there are too many cars to hide among. Did the pager not go off?

dont see why someone would want to steal a 4th gen, unless they have a 4th gen themselves!

plus, can you see through the tints you got?
just wondering cause maybe the deck and such attracted attention.

SHOW ME THAT FOOTAGE!

ok, that front end conversion is a good thing to look for...the person who stole it may not realize that the front end was swapped and may label the car wrong. i'll keep and eye on it, but the popo will probably find it

well my tint is 35 in the front and 25 in the back and 25 on rear window, yea the cop that was handling my case has a maxima to, he has a 2003, so he kinda felt my pain. And the cop was saying that its weird why they took mine, he was saying that its usually dodge and fords that get broken/stolen
so it gots me puzzled

THAT is what they wanted, what else do u need to have in it to be appealing? rims and a drop is like a Pu$$y magnet for these guys.

A) the cops took finger prints ? u must not have a lot of car theft in ur area, because here cops may either not show up when u call to report a stolen car and just take the report over the phone, or show up like 3 hours later which is what happened to me

B) if those guys had to break glass to get ur car stolen they are not pros and probly just some kids in the neighbourhood, im sure u can find people that know some people, cause everyone talks

UPDATE!!!!!

when i was work today, i got a call from this number, this was the number- 000-1234, i picked it up and it and someone immediately hung the phone up.
So then a couple of minutes after, another number called but this time it was the cop that was handling my case, he said they found my car and i asked him what was the condition of it, he said "not drivable" i had mixed feeling cause i got my car back........... but its tore up. so i asked him where its located and he said its in tampa, ( 30-40 min away from the area i live in). So we kept talking, he gave me the address of were my car is located, and then i remembered that 000 number, I ask the cop, can you run this number for me, he took the number and said he will call me back in a few. He calls me back and said the number was located in tampa, (were my car is) he did a little more research and he said "your not gonna believe it but, the number you gave me is were the cops found your car, in the middle of a dark alley, right next to the thief's house" , i couldnt believe it was true, they got the guy and they counldnt recover any of the stolen stuff cause he sold it right there and then, so they said i could see the guys face tomorrow morning, so im gonna go get my car and press charges tomorow, and ill let you guys know from then.

im still trying to rip the footage from the dvd
