Im considering lowering my car with a set of springs. Right now I have 17 inch wheels and 215/45 tires so theres a huge gap between the wheelwell and my tire (3.5-4"). WHat are ure experiences w eibach? sprint? H&R? I know custommaxima.com sells eibach but who sells sprint. Thanks guys

I have to say I'm a little disappointed in my Eibachs. I would have thought the drop was a little more. If I had to do it all over again, I would have saved my money and bought Weapon R coilovers or saved some money and bought Sprint. The Sprints give you a full 2" drop and from what I hear are the same harshness as the Eibachs. Anyone else not happy with the drop their Eibachs gave them?

People were always asking me when I was going to lower my car. I got the Sprint springs from max8mycash here on the org. I am very pleased with them. The rear drop could be a little lower imo, but other than that they're great.

Just out of curiosity, how much harsher is the ride than on the stock ride?

Hrmm... just got the Eibachs and I think they're fine. Yeah, they aren't super low but they are low enough to improve handling and NOT cause any problems or require new shocks. Any wheel/tire combo should work and you don't have to worry about any clearances.

If you want the tires meeting the wheel well look, then Eibachs aren't the way to go. I had a 3" gap and now I have a 1.5" gap which is fine for me. From what I've seen, it looks just like the H&R drop. I'll update my site with new pictures soon, before and after Eibachs.

The handling is damn sweet though. <grin>

Yeah, please post pics, because I wanna get 18's, bu I'm worried about the wheel gap with such a low profile tire. I also think that part of my problem is all the weight in the trunk. I am going to re-install my system in the near future and get rid of the heavy assed false floor in my trunk, that will certainly help even out my drop. Although the rear rear drop does look perfect

I have the sprints on my car and I think they're great. The ride is indeed pretty stiff, but only when you go over big bumps or potholes. I'm very pleased with the drop but I also feel the back could be a little lower. Maybe if I had a system in my trunk it'll look better. I usually don't have any trouble with scraping or going over speed bumps. I have 17s with 215-45 and I didn't need a camber kit to get my alignment in spec. I would definitely go with the sprints.

the ride is alot harsher kiss that Floating sensation goodbye as you feel every pothole in the road. the price you pay for looking good. i have the sprint suspenion the drop looks sweet but the back does in fact sit a bit higher that the front but hardly noticable

And due to my stereo, rear is perfectly even with the front, so the uneveness of the rear problem has been taken care off, if not, the rear does have four dead coils (also known as support coils), and even though everyone always says to not cut coils, a few of my customers have indeed cut the rear coil (one or two off) and have had no increase in harsheness in ride, however, the look has evened out.
So I do love my sprints.. I have heard of alot of people with Eibachs not being happy.....
