Guys, what does it sound like when the tensioner goes wrong? Sometimes mine makes an evil droning sound with a background rattling, seems to be coming from inside the TC cover, revving the engine makes it go away. You think I am looking at having to do the same job as raziq?

guys never forget to do the simple things first.
If you hear ratling take a long screw driver and place your ear on the handle and listen for the obvious. Otherwise CHECK YOUR OIL drain it and inspect it for metal shavings of any kind. If you have shavings in your oil......youll need to look at getting another Vq30 trust me its cheaper for the whole motor than to rebuild it
